As a supplement to the funds donated from registration fees we encourage all teams to raise futher funds which can be donated directly to any charity of your choice. Although we would like you to contribute any additional funds to our projects, you are obviously free to donate your money to a charity/good cause in any country/organisation around the world.
Exclusions:Tuk Tuk spare parts & repairsYour humble steed will be handed over in road worthy conditions and from then onwards it is your responsibility to take care of any repair costs. Our team of mechanics will be at your disposal throughout the event and will assist you with this at a cost. Otherwise you can turn to the locals to help you out. But don’t worry spare parts are not that expensive! Fuel
These wonderful machines are surprisingly fuel efficient, so unless you drive like a madman your wheels will do at least 30 km to the litre so you won’t really be spending more than USD 100.00 bucks for the whole Challenge. InsuranceYou will require one, preferably life insurance. There are many insurance companies out there that will cover you with a special travel insurance for this Challenge. FlightsThe easiest and perhaps cheapest way to get directly to Siemp Reap is either with Singapore Airlines or Malaysian Airlines. Alternatively you can also connect via Bangkok, Hong Kong or Kuala Lumpur depending on where you are coming from. We would recommend you to try the following airlines: Qatar Airways Into Siem Reap Tuk Tuk DepositThis deposit will be purely used as a guarantee to ensure that your tuk tuk is returned in the same state as you received it. We will require a pre-authorization from your credit card. Do note that your tuk tuk will be thoroughly inspected upon return and both organizers and team members must agree and settle amounts for any repairs required.
Your day to day costs
We estimate that you will need about USD 30.00 per day, obviously each to their own; some of you may drink more than others.
